Why we built it ourselves
The billing software we needed didn’t exist, so we wrote it
Billing systems are built to get claims to payers. Very little was built for the rest of the job: patients who don’t understand their bill, phones that never stop ringing, and money that sits uncollected after insurance pays its share. So we built ClinicOctane, our own platform for everything after the visit, and we use it to run every account we take on.
Accountable
We’re paid a percentage of what we collect, so if you don’t get paid, we don’t either.
Transparent
Every action on your accounts is logged and visible to you. Nothing is hidden.
Careful
We treat patient data as the trust it is: HIPAA safeguards, BAAs everywhere they’re required, and conservative matching so a record never lands on the wrong patient.
